1831 Low Differential Pressure Switch

DPDT, Manual Reset, No Power Required

Eliminates common problems associated with typical

high duct static cutout installations

Both relay contacts activate and reset at the same time;

removes possibility of lead switch shutting down the fan

and preventing the lag switch from sending alarm to BAS

No electrical power required to operate two SPDT switches;

eliminates need for separate power loop and its associated

wiring and conduit reducing material and installation costs

Relay contacts rated 4 amps at 125/250 VAC

Dual conduit openings for each control loop

Maximum pressure: 10 psig (68.9 kP) continuous;

25 psig (172 kP) surge

Temperature limits: -30 to 180^OF (-34 to 82^OC)

MANUAL RESET OPERATION - ACTIVATE ON INCREASE

If differential pressure increases above the setpoint, the two

relays are activated and latched so N.O. contacts are closed

and N.C. contacts are open. The relay contacts will remain

in that condition even if differential pressure decreases below

the setpoint until manually deactivated by the reset lever.
